New Cards

Hi peeps
I have attached another two cards that I have done recently - one being a commission for Mothers Day and one Steampunk style. These images are from Pink Gem Designs and are oh so cute. Have used a range of Kaisercraft Timeless paper for the Steampunk Owl and English Rose for the mother owl together with embellishments from the Kaisercraft group.
Do hope that you like them and any comments or criticism is always welcomed. Have a wonderful week.

New Card

Hi Peeps
Well it has been such a long time since I was last on here. So many things have happened in the past few months that have not enabled me to go on here and show you what I have been doing. Time has not been my own and have been busy teaching and taking classes and basically exhausted mentally once I have finished and just not been up to blogging.
I have recently completed an online Copic class and have attached a photo of the card which we had to do for completion. This is KIKI who is the Copic class teachers own digi and the one we had to use for this course. It was loads of fun and can be found at Copic Me blogsite.
Ok, I do hope to be able to keep up posts for you and as always, appreciate any comments or criticism.
Take care and hope you do visit soon
Cheers

New Cards

Hi Peeps

Well, I have finally got around to making two new cards and getting them posted for you all to see.
The first is a class kit that I have done, courtesy of Chandon Craft Victoria and am so pleased with it. Credit goes to the wonderful designer Cassandra Bright, who has come up with this and made it so very simple to follow. As you can see it is an easel card that folds down really well for posting, you just remove the candles and close it down. I am looking forward to making more using the basics of this card. Thanks Cassandra.
The second is a card for a friends who is turning 63 Sunday and thought this digi image from Tickled Pink Stamps suited her to a tee. Have used copics for colouring (which I am still doing my best to master) flowers from my stash together with papers, again from my stash. I do hope that you like them and any comments or tips are always welcomed.

My new craft cabin

Hi there
Well, it has been a few months since I last was on here, but do have a very good reason and one I am sure will make you all very jealous.
I have just finished building, together with my BIL Tony, a new craft shed for the girls to come and visit and craft along with me, plus have time to myself to sit and craft in the beautiful surroundings of the natural bush around me with all the wildlife one can imagine, so hopefully creative juices will start flowing and masterpieces to be created LOL.
I have posted one photo to show you but will post more over the next day or two of the inside.
Hope this finds you all well and a little jealous.

 Hi Peeps
I know a little over my two week rule. I did this for a friend who needed cheering up, so I thought what bright colours I could do Tilda in, so chose these and feel that she would brighten up anyone's day.
I do hope that you like her and as always any comments or tips are welcomed.
See you again soon with another card. Will be trying my hand at some Hanglars, thanks to Rosie who has sent me some to colour.
Take care

Just wanted to let you know that I have not vacated the planet, am still here.
Have had such a busy festive season, with the industry I work in there is no rest for the wicked and have been busy with markets and have had family visiting from all points of the globe, so have made myself a promise (not a new year resolution) to at least post a card and enter challenges regularly on a fortnightly basis.
Been keeping up to date with what everyone has been doing and am just loving it all.
So Happy New Year everyone and hope that we will have a wonderful year ahead with challenges and great card making.

Icy Christmas/Snowflake Challenges

Hi, hope this finds you all well and not getting to panicky about getting your christmas cards done and posted.
I am entering this card into Totally Tilda's Icy Christmas and Die Cut Dreams Christmas club challenge of Snowflakes.
I have used a circle easel card together with wooden snowflakes that I dabbed white brillance ink onto and then sprinkled with Glamour Dust for that icy effect, a lace doily that has had silver rubbed over it and gently misted with vanilla smooch to give a light sparkle to it, run silver mirror board through a snowflake embossed folder and added a snowflake charm, silver peel offs for border and sentiment. Tilda was coloured with Copic markers in various shades of blue.
Do hope that you like her and any comments or tips are always welcomed.

All Things Pink

Hi everyone
Well, have I had some fun. Attended the Melbourne Paperific show Friday just gone and what a time we had. Took a good friend and flew over for the day.
It was a case of which way do you head first, there were so many wonderful shops to visit and so little time to do it all in, so started at stall number 1 and worked our way around.
Stopped and visited the girls at Mad for Markers and watched a few copic demo's with them and leart a thing or two.
Bought lots of goodies, Magnolia stamps, Copics of course, Martha Stewart punches, papers, inks, chipboard in all shapes and sizes and designs, vintage and so on and on and on !!!!. Broke definitely, but what a way to be.
Now for the card for two challenges, one with Mad for Markers (Pink theme)   and 7KidsCollege challenge using a Magnolia image and two papers, so do hope you like it.
Did anyone else manage to get to Melbourne to the show, do let me know what you thought.
Take care and see you again here soon

Hello peeps

Well, it has been a while, so do forgive me. Work can be so intrusive on your crafting time LOL.
I was asked to do a framed picture for a couple who have been married for 60yrs and were renewing their vows, so a friend wanted a little memento for them, so I put together this and do hope that you like it.
Magnolia Wedding Tilda n Edwin / Magnolia Rose Arbor / Flowers and leaves from Bizzy Bec's, Ribbon n Charm from Image Plus Tasmania / Copic markers / Kindy Glitz Crystalline Glitter on the roses and her bouquet of flowers.
Any comments or tips always welcomed.
Hope to be here a bit more often as hours at work have been reduced, so more crafting time ahead.

Take care
